This is my first journal entry. I hope to connect with some like-minded individuals.
A little about myself. I enjoy being outdoors. I don't need to be hiking though. Just simply being out at the park or a back patio works just as well. My favorite type of weather is gloomy and chilly. I could have multiple days of rain, gloom, and overcast and be perfectly content.
Halloween is my favorite holiday, mostly because to me it is the official start of my favorite season: fall and winter.
Random thoughts I tend to have often: What is the point of life? I wonder this while I see a person driving next to me, or observe a couple out on a date. I wondered about this more when I left the country and just people watched. My life has more meaning to me when I became a parent. I think of ways to make my child's life better and it gives me purpose.
I would probably work on making the lives of others better if I wasn't a parent.
The only downfall of my current situation is now I'm not afraid of dying... I'm afraid of leaving my child. I truly believe that not one person on earth will show up and protect, lead, and be there like I would. I feel confident I am not alone on this one.
